The Percy & Lillian Jackson Educational Incentive Fellowship was created to address declining freshman enrollment and financial strain among HBCUs—a challenge that has already forced several institutions to downsize or close. By supporting students accepted to HBCUs, this fellowship strengthens access to higher education while helping sustain these vital pillars of cultural and academic excellence.
Importance of the Incentive Fellowship:
Our goal is to provide a full year of scholarships for three deserving students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Once our collective funding goal is reached, the fellowship will open for applications, ensuring recipients receive meaningful, immediate support to begin their academic journeys confidently.
